snow day

Snow days are supost to be amazing and help student out. However, others like myself it hurts us. I crammed a large amount of information wednesday night and I felt I was ready for my 2 tests on Thursday morning and I was suppost to have a midterm review on Thursday also.Now I'm going to have 2 test on Tuesday and a midterm that I have no idea what to study for. On that note we played a nice game of football at school and I got MVP :). I had 2 touchdowns and I had the most tackles and catches. . .they werent like huge hits because I was the second smallest guy there but I would slow them down and stop them from scoring a touch down. And I didnt get hurt even though I got tackled by a 190lb body :)

day 2 of districs

North Plainfield is sending 2 of 2 to regions :) 2nd seed mario herrera ended up getting 3rd place. Frank "Da Tank" was given 6th seed meaning he had to wrestle the 3rd seed , frank won in 41 second. Today he wrestled the 2nd seed(whos record was 23-4) and pinned him also in just 1 minutes 26 seconds before losing in the finals. Never before has the seed be so wrong lol in favor of North Plainfiedl at 103 :). all try to keep you all updated on regions and see in Mario Herrera (the most winning wrestler in North Plainfield history) will make states and shock the world or atleast New Jersey again and if Frank "Da Tank" can keep his amazing journey and make state for the first time in his career. . . untill the next update ;)

First round of Districs

Out of the 14 wrestlers only 2 advanced to the second day. Frank "Da Tank" North Plainfields 103 pounder and Mario Herrera North Plainfields 130 pounder. It was a nice way to start the tournament our first wrestling pinned in 0:41 second with a torzone flip. His brother carlos lost in an amazing match. Although only 2 wrestlers made it to the next round thats one more then we were suppost to have. Distric 12 is one of the hardest districs in the state of New Jersey. Mario Herrera is 25-0 this year(with a carreer record of 103-22) and he only got second seed. First seed is ranked 8th in the state. Our region is pact with 8 wrestlers that are either ranked or are pridicted to place in state, however only 3 of them can advance to states. I was going crazy when my friend as the 6th seed beat the 3rd seed in 41 seconds. Both wrestlers should mad it to regions tomorrow night I'll keep you all updated :)

won yet another gold medal at the olympics. After realizing he had won he landed his run, his "victory lap" and kill what ever it was that he did and scored a 98 point something it was a cork screw i think its calls its basically him doing like 4 slips extremly quickly while spenting half the time he is in the air upside down and then landing on the snow board and if he waits lets say 1 second to many to dicide to land his trip his knees might brake do to the pressure. Once again I dont know wat he did all I know is that it was amazing

Dear blog . . .I just wanna let you know I'M SCARED

Thats right Im scared, nervous and mad more things. Tomorrow or today feb 19 I Yuri will be facing one of my fears . . . Districs , a wreslting tournament that is important to ger into regions and eventually AC for states, I havent been there in over 2 years and I have been perfectly fine with that. In my opintion it hasnt been long enough. I have good memories there ;however, I also have one huge bad really bad memory. This evil experience happened feb 23, 2008 (I remember da exact date lol) I wont go into detail but it was bad. So bad in fact that it still haunts me till this day. Forexample I am fully awake and dont wanna go to sleep because I'm scared and nervous of the fact I have to go baq there later on today at 3 p.m.(It is currently2:05 A.M.). I am going baq because I'm an assistent coach of my old high school team. I wont do much coaching I'll be more as a motivator and possible an example of what can happen if your relate during a wrestling match . . . you lose lol. Wrestling will be a very good friend of mine a senior looking to take his second trip to states however his weight class is super stacked thing year . . . and two other good friends who convinced to wrestling and have know then since I was 10. They arent as likely to advance to regions but I am there make sure they at least have a chance to . . . . Although this is mad random and have nothing to do with anything I just wanted to let you all know that I cant go to sleep . . . and hints or advice?!

when you were little was additon the hard part of multiplication? If so you can relate

so I took my first calc 4 test today and I actually knew all the concepts which relate to calc 4. However, I was not able to realize dat domain of Ln(9-x(squared)) was (-3,3) not [-3,3]. Now since I for one dont like Ln I decided to think of it as a square root,one would think with was smart, atleast I did lol, but I forgot to realize one simple difference the square root of zero does exist where as the Ln of zero doesnt exist. With was by far the easiest question ever but I managed to get it wrong . . . also I toally forgot about arctan(x) I actually wrote it down but erased it because I said o myself and I quote, "there no way its just arctan(x) its got to be some crazy thingy" . . . but to my surpise along with your surprise(you the reader) . . . it was the right answer :'(

the Saints upset the Colts

All in all i dont think it was a bad game, Manning once again showed hes human in big games. I kinda wonted to see Manning win again just to see if this would stop the debate about being the greatest quarterback, on the other had congratz to da Saints aka "who dat nation?", after all they have been through a super bowl will defenently help there self esteem of new orleans. Going from a team that fans wore bags over their heads to being super bowl champs. Also, I was good to see a "short guy" finally win. Although Brees is 6 ft, as a quarterback thats considered small the "ideal" height is about 6'4" . Also his story and journy that let him to da Saints is crazy , basically no one wonted him because of his height and because his arm was not strong enough to be an eleet quarterback or so they thought. Only the Saints wanted him, and he chose to go where no player honestly wanted to play and now they're super bowl champs. . . Its all about 2010 also known as Favre year lol the commercial with Favre was the funiest thing I think I have ever seen lol

Favre

So Favre through another interception during the closing seconds of a play off game,that eneded up costing him the game. . . he still played a great game and people need to stop criticizing him and focus on the superbwol game. Dispite getting hit over 20 times he still held the ball and continued looking for a winning through instead of just running the ball. He will be back and he will prove all of the critics wrong like this season proved . . . the next day after the game ESPN issued a report that a hit suffered by Favre was illegal and had it been called Farve's first interception would have been called baz and with the penalt the vikings would have been on the 5 yard line . . .

Numberical Analysis

Sounds easy enough . . . so its a 400 level class i waz told dat dat didnt mean anything after all math iz simply numbers right? . . . I managed to get a good great on my first quiz but I have no idea how I pulled that off. Even after I got my quiz baq i still couldnt beleive I didnt fail. Now i have to worry bout clac 4, test on monday, have no idea wat the chapter test is on but lets see if I can pull another miracle . . . miracles never happen in that class though. . .

Cafe food

Todays meal at the cafe waz not as gross as usual. . . I actually enjoyed that chicken like substance that waz serve in the hot food area. The fries were nasty for dinner but that was to be expecting, seeing as they had cirly fries for lunch. Caldwell College cafeteria has an unspoken tradition which is to at most serving one desent meal a week, usually a month. I cant wait to wake up and get another chance to enjoy the 1.2 star quality food from the cafeteria
